Jenna Gersie is a PhD student in English at University of Colorado Boulder. Jenna has participated in the Wildbranch Writing Workshop, the Bread Loaf Orion Environmental Writers' Conference, and the Environmental Literature Institute at Exeter, and she completed a fiction writing residency at the Vermont Studio Center. She is a copyeditor for The Goose, the official journal of the Association for Literature, Environment, and Culture in Canada. Her creative nonfiction has appeared in Orion and Zoomorphic, her fiction has appeared in About Place Journal, and her scholarly work has appeared in Kudzu House Quarterly. She is currently working on a novel about grief, Australian raptors, and the rainforest, and her dissertation research focuses on log cabins. Her website is jennagersie.com.
