John MacNeill Miller

John MacNeill Miller is a writer and environmental humanist living on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, PA. He is the author of The Ecological Plot: How Stories Gave Rise to a Science (UVA Press, 2024). His writing has appeared in Flyway, About Place, Peatsmoke, Literary Hub, and The Revelator, among other venues. Someone once dismissed him as "a bunch of starlings in a trench coat," but he took it as a compliment.
